Hi ..I'm really not sure where to start, so I guess in a word I'm simple. I dont really care to have the big house and fancy cars..dont get me wrong I appreciate the finer things in life.. I'm in the trades, so I make a good living, and i'm not looking for a sugar momma. I have 2 boys that I am very fond of and they are the biggest part of my life. I have a great family that spends a good deal of time together, so my life is pretty much rewarded. Rollerblading was new to me this year but I cant see myself without it. I like to spend much of my time around the people that I love and that love me. I am a kid at heart. My son is my world and he is by far the best thing that has ever happened to me. I am a shy guy that likes hanging out with my friends and family, we are very close. I like being athletic, my new years resolution is to try and to complete a triathlon. I'm a bit odd. My friends tell me I often come off as a jackass. It's probably true. I'm not against telling the truth, even if it hurts the person. And it's typically a blunt truth. Many people have a hard time telling truths from my (sometimes) cutting sarcasm. Most of the time I'm found reading, writing up a new story, or watching bad movies. I drink milk like there's no tomorrow, with water being my secondary. I don't drink soda as much as I used to, but I also enjoy a good cup of tea. As far as alcoholic beverages go, they are kind of rare, but I'm in favor of White Russians and Gin & Tonic. A lot of beer is gross, and I hate most wine.

I'm a scarf lover.

I tend to lock doors with any door that has a lock. It's just this weird sense of security/privacy that I have, even when I'm the only person in the house. I know, it's dumb. Oh well.

Have lived in Michigan my entire life. Went to a college in northern Wisconsin for 4 years and then found a job in the Portage/Kalamazoo area and been here ever since. I had to travel through the U.P. for those 4 years and loved every minute of it. The scenery and landscape is beautiful and the atmosphere is so relaxing up there. However Portage/Kalamazoo is also pretty good. Sort of centrally located between Grand Rapids, Lansing and Chicago.

I am currently a student at WMU. I work as much as possible and I have a 1 year old puppy. I enjoy going out to the bars and can enjoy a good party but I also like staying in and having quiet nights at home. I'm up for anything.

I'm not the best at writing about myself. So just bare with me... Spend the quality time with my family and friends. My family means the world to me. So since they don't live near by, I make it a point to go visit them 1-2 times a year. I'm loyal, fun loving, laid back and honest to a fault. I believe people deserve the benefit of the doubt. I love playing sports (softball, flag football) with my friends because it allows me to spend quality time with them and stay active. I pretty much live by what i think is funny. I hate saying this, because when i do, people seem to try their best to say something witty, and it's usually horribly embarrassing for everyone involved. I seem to have a new ambition every week, and i'm impulsive. I move through friends pretty quickly, it's hard to meet people that get better with time for more than a couple weeks. I'm blunt, but not rude, i hate rude people. I love quantum physics and Mac products, along with funny things and salvador dali. basically, all i want it to meet someone i still respect without their clothes.

This is going to come off mean, and I realize that i'm no huge prize, but someone who would get along with me quite well would not be offended by this: If you're a "musician," you're probably lying. I'm not interested in some kid who poorly plays guitar in the bedroom at his parents house, or some dude who plays shitty shows once a week at a house party who calls himself a musician. I'm 25, have a real career that i care about and a real life that doesn't involve lying to people about how 'good' their show was.

Also, video games: For recreation? sure! For a hobby? Absolutely not.

I have 2 differnt colored eyes ,left eye is green and right eye is brown. i practice swordsmanship in my free time, like to go on paranormalinvestigations. i tend to be pretty shy at first but once i get to know you im little more open. i am in the process of learning Japanesse now. i tend to be a bit shy at first but when im get comfortable with someone i tend to make them laugh by saying what ever crazy thought or word that comes to mind. I'm a man of honor and hence i do what i believe is right and honorable. my word is my bond, if i tell you something it will get done or i will notify you that i can't do it and apoligize or ask for an extention to get it done. i believe that those that break their word continuesly cut at the bonds of friendship and eventually something will give and the relationship will end. I do understand that things happen or a higher priorty comes up and that will tak presitence over another promise but at the same time if something comes up you should atleast contact the other person so they know what is going on with your agreement/promise/ whatever you wish to call it. every sunday i do volunteer at my church doing the projection screen and assist with sound. that's all for now feel free to ask anything you want to know. let's see it says i need to write more to get to that 95% mark. lets see i also write a little bit. mostly random things. usaaly ends up sounding intresting while others just suck but i have fun doing it. also you will notice i can't spell all that well so i use smaller words i can spell but my vocabulary is fairly big, not huge but big enough that if i could spell them all i would have a better stories written. i also do go on paranormal investigations when i can a chance to go.

I settled on Portage now after spending the last year or two living between Battle Creek, Lansing, and Kalamazoo.

I believe in working for what you want, and I'm fairly light-hearted but often seem very closed off and unapproachable. It's an instinctive act at this point.

I'm a happy person and find fun in just about everything. I like to be active and enjoy doing goofy stuff, like night photography, trying out all the pizza places in town, or walking on the beach in the snow. I adore being outdoors. I like real food and try to stay healthy/organic. I also don't eat fast food -- I've almost made it a year -- and think I'm definitely better off. :) I want to know more about Yoga. I went to one class and loved it. I love adventures -- mini-adventures and big-adventures. I love being creative and having fun.

I love to learn, and I don't think I will ever stop. I tend to think outside of the box. However, when instructions are provided they should generally be followed... after you have tried without them multiple times and not been successful.

I enjoy backpacking and being outside, whether at the beach, in the woods, or in a nice patch of grass shaded by a nice tree I often find myself lost in the world around me.

I have a passion for racing cars and enjoy the finer things in life. I drag race a VW Rabbit and race karts in Lansing. I like to go to shows in Detroit and Chicago to see live music, particlarly house or drum and bass. I would like to get out and see some more indie rock shows as I've only been to a handfull of them. I like authentic food and am always willing to try something I've never had. Middle Eastern and Lebanese food are some of my favorites. Cabarenet Sauvingon is my favorite wine in the family of reds. The drier the better if you ask me.

I'm Kathy. I've never been good at describing myself, but I'll give it a whirl. I go on adventures on whims to remind myself that I am alive. I'm doing my best to make the most of every single day. I don't watch much TV and spend my downtime reading. I'm trying my best to be in love with being alive, but it's a daily struggle. I love film, art, and music. I'm passionate about things.

I just finished grad school at Central Michigan University and graduated from Michigan State University a few years ago. I am a huge fan of all sports, especially hockey...let me watch my Spartans play or the Red Wings and I am a happy lady :) I moved to Kzoo roughly a year ago and absolutely love it!

Well, I haven't updated this for a long time, so I guess now is a good as time as any...

I am currently attending Western Michigan University for Secondary Education with a major in History and a minor in English. I just started my 4th year, and still have a little time before I get to graduate. I have 2 jobs at the moment, and am in Colleges Against Cancer, so I a pretty busy a lot of the time, but everyone needs money and a good cause to concentrate on. :)

I am a pretty laid back girl for the most part. I like to go out with my friends and have a few drinks, or go to a movie, or to a concert, play board games, go to the beach when it is nice out, do seasonal things, read, cook, or anything else that sounds like fun. But, as much as I like to go out, I am also a homebody. I think it is tons of fun to hang out at home in comfy clothes, order some take out, watch a movie, and cuddle. I also have the tendency to be rather random at times.

I try to live by the quote "everything happens for a reason". I truly believe in this idea. It is really hard to keep this thought process when bad things happen, but that is when you really learn about who you are and that you can really get through most anything that life throws at you.

Iâ??d say Iâ??m quite a creative person with the ability to adapt to many different situations, but that doesnâ??t say much about me does it?

Well, I have a BS in Film from GVSU, an interest in Archaeology, shoes, guns, funky jewelry, survivalism, conspiracy theories, debates, wild animal psychology, different religions/cultures, board games, dogs, astrology, shopping, decorating. I write urban fantasy novels (vampires, werewolves, witches) with an archaeological spin in my spare time. Sometimes I like to simply watch people and observeâ??sometimes I put myself all out there and am the center of attention. Iâ??m okay being both.

Like everyone else, Iâ??m a blend of a lot of different attributes that make me an individual. To normal people, Iâ??m a bit weird. To weirdos, Iâ??m a bit normal. Maybe some body here will think Iâ??m just right?

The basics:

Iâ??m divorced (happily so) and moved back to Kalamazoo, MI a year ago, but I grew up there. In the 10 years of my absence, I lived in and around Grand Rapids and various places in Florida.

I dabble in the creative: writing novels, graphic design, web design, traveling...

Wellll I am finishing up my last semester at WMU finally after what seems like an eternity of going to school (I didn't start until I was 21 so I'm only a fifth year senior) which isn't bad I guess. It's so hard to just write a little note about yourself in a box. I could write almost nothing or I could write a book- hell, I could probably write more than one! lol, What should I write about?

Well, I love to do things with people. It can be anything from just hanging out, to watching a movie, to going out to dinner and/or a movie, to going to a cafe, to bar-hopping, or partying. I love taking walks (anywhere)!

I also really love animals. If you believe that humans are somehow "better" than other animals, we probably won't get along. Sure humans have a lot of qualities that make us very different, but does it really make us "better"? The fact is that humans ARE animals, and I believe that specism is just as bad as sexism or racism. I refuse to try to put a value judgment on something like that. (And I certainly do NOT think that humans are "special" because we're the "chosen ones" of some sort of deity. I mean, come on.) (Also, I am not a vegetarian. While I heartily disagree with the way "meat production" animals are treated, I still think that humans are naturally omnivores.)

I questioned my sexuality for a long time. I am definitely attracted to people of both sexes, and I really dont' have a preference, so I call myself bisexual. I just want the partner of my dreams, no matter what their sex.

I am currently in a very happy relationship, and I am NOT looking for romantic or sexual encounters of any kind. Despite this, I'm definitely interested in meeting new FRIENDS (platonic only), so if you're in the area and looking for more people to hang out with, send me a message!

I am a full-time student at WMU. I am currently a Junior and am in the Family Studies major. I am on the water polo team and love the water and all water sports. My family lives on a lake and the summers are spent fishing, tubing, water skiing and cooking out. I have a one year old little girl so if that is a problem, please be honest about it. She is an amazing person and is a lot of fun. If you are open minded then there shouldn't be a problem.
