“I have mixed feelings. I have been very hands on and worked with admin. to place my child on a team where I felt she would fit best with the teachers. If you are shy and unsure of yourself, this school is really tough. The clicks are mean and the lunches are hard for students. By that I mean they don't have enough time to actually eat, they run out of food, and if your at the end you don't have your 'safe' friend table to sit at and the drama gets really bad. Class work, teachers and communication have been really good, but I stay on top of it and I contact teachers right away if I see a problem.”

“I did not feel loved or even liked by the teachers and many of them didn't teach well at all. Also a lot of the kids can be snoby and rude. I feel like it was a mistake to switch schools. My twin brother left Mattawan because bullies were being so mean and not being punished. Nothing was done about it.”
