This place is a great place to watch the ever-changing seasons of Lake Michigan all year round and to watch the dramatic weather clouds building up around the lake. It offers a unique combination of natural beauty, picturesque views, great food and drinks and a variety of family activities.

Indiana Dunes National Park offers endless fun and can provide the perfect day trip, but Michigan City is a great base for a weekend getaway to its many attractions. It is awe inspiring nature and can be a perfect stopover on the way to Indiana Dune State Park or the Great Lakes.

The Portage Lakefront Riverwalk opened in October 2008 and features a restored 900-meter breakwater from which you can easily enjoy Lake Michigan. It is one of the city's most popular tourist attractions and a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.
